Round Square 7-Day Trip to Myanmar (Burma)
‘Experience The Ancient City of Bagan and the Rich Culture of Inle Lake’

In a nation with well over 100 ethnic groups, exploring Myanmar can often feel like you've stumbled into a living edition of the National Geographic. People still get around in trishaws (similar to a Tuk Tuk) and, in rural areas, horse and cart. Drinking tea – a British colonial affectation – is enthusiastically embraced in thousands of traditional teahouses! Now is the moment to visit this extraordinary land, scattered with gilded pagodas, where the traditional ways of Asia still exist and areas previously off-limits, now have open access.

Mr Daly & Miss Ball would like to provide a 7 day excursion to ensure you have the time to experience the true wonders this land can provide.

The initial itinerary is below.

  •  Experience a cultural festival.

  •  Visit the magnificent ancient city of Bagan ‘The Bagan Archaeological Zone’.

  •  View the magnificent Mount Popa.

  •  Visit the famous U Bein Bridge and Golden Palace.

  •  Meet a local Hill Tribe.

  •  Visit Pathodawgyi Pagoda, a brick counterpart of pyramid in Egypt.

  •  Get involved in charity work at a local School.

  •  Experience a private boat tour along the Ayeywarwaddy river.

  •  Visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs.

  •  Travel by pony-cart around Ava to Nanmyint to visit the famous leaning tower.

  •  Visit Manuha Temple built by exile King Manuha and then enjoy the breathtaking sunset from one of the temple of Bagan.

  •  Relax, take in the culture and do some shopping in Mandalay and Yangon.

  •  Visit Caves of Pindaya.

  •  Short Trek Kalaw.

  •  Visit the famous Inle Lake.
